MINUTES OF A MEETING OF TETNEY PARISH COUNCIL
Held at St. John's Methodist Chapel schoolroom on the 10th March 2022

27/22    CHAIR'S WELCOME
Cllr McMillan welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced Cllr Craig Leyland (Head of ELDC) and Mr Mike Gildersleeves (Head of Planning), he explained the building was no  smoking and where the fire exits were located. 
                                             
28/22    APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies were received in advance from Cllr Cruickshank, Cllr Blagg due to work commitments and Cllr Kerman due to other commitments. Proposed and seconded to accept apologies, all in favour. Resolved to accept apologies.

29/22   DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
To record declarations of interest by any member of the Council in respect of the agenda 
items listed below. Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and     
type of interest being declared. None.
To note dispensations given to any member of the Council in respect of the agenda items

30/22    MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING held on 10th March 2022
Had been previously circulated. Proposed by Cllr Fletcher and seconded by Cllr Williams to accept the Minutes. All in favour. Resolved to accept minutes. 
"These be adopted as a true record".

31/22    OPEN FORUM - None
      
32/22    TO RECEIVE EXTERNAL REPORTS
a) ELDC - Warm Home Grants available to certain homes meeting the criteria. No change to bin collections over Easter period. Cllr Grants available shortly.
b) LCC -  Louth Active Travel Scheme trialling for 18 months with review after 6 months, comments can still be submitted to LCC. NHS Take Back Scheme launched at Lincoln Hospital  with view to extend to Louth if successful. Container available to drop off medical aids eg. crutches, walking sticks, commodes etc. "Have a go day" in the Fire Service, training day at Waddington can be booked. Lucy the Dragon and Easter activities on at Lincoln Castle. Free activities for children entitled to free school meals on across county.
c) Outside representatives – FOTPS Easter treasure hunt is going well with over 60 sheets sold. Many prizes donated by local businesses and the PC. Village Hall looking at ways to reinstall land drains and possibility of reseeding playing field. Dedicated dog walk area has not been considered but will be put to the committee. Ladies Fellowship group have asked for a donation towards the cost of bus hire for their outing to Bridlington to meet another Fellowship group. Cllr Fletcher proposed £100 donation, seconded by Cllr McMillan, all in favour. Resolved to donate £100 to the Ladies Fellowship group.

34/22    PARISH COUNCIL MATTERS - To discuss any matters relating to the village. 
 a) Queens Platinum Jubilee celebration ideas - Street parties to be encouraged and advertised for 5th June. Local singer Charlotte asked if she is available to tour the village, waiting for reply. Jubilee scarecrow to be just for fun not a competition, scarecrows to be displayed 30th May - 6th June. Posters to advertise Scarecrow and parties to be displayed around village.
b) Cemetery extension - Fees to be paid to solicitor. 
c) Update on interactive speed signs - Lincolnshire Land Developers agreed to fund 1 unit, Clerk to approach Phillips66 for a second unit.
d) To update on recycling area -  Order for signage has been submitted waiting for ELDC to confirm installation date.

Council has been randomly selected for intermediate review by external auditor, PFK Littlejohn.

37/22   NEXT AGENDA ITEM
Audit, new bin purchase, Townspiece/Brickpits deeds.
