74/20 CHAIR’S REPORT
Cllr McMillan welcomed the Councillors to the Zoom meeting and introduced the newly co-opted councillor Helen Blagg. He explained the meeting was being held remotely due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and wished everyone with symptoms a speedy recovery, and reminded everyone to stay at home as much as possible.
75/20. APOLOGIES
Apologies were received in advance from Cllr Kerman due to unavailability of equipment. Proposed to accept apologies by Cllr Hill, seconded by Cllr Fletcher. All in favour. Resolved to accept. No apologies received from Cllr Maynard.
76/20. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
To record declarations of interest by any member of the Council in respect of the agenda items listed below. Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared. None.

77/20. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
Had been previously circulated. It was proposed by Cllr Fletcher and seconded by Cllr Lukehurst to accept the Minutes. Resolved to accept minutes. These be adopted as a true record’.
78/20. TO RECEIVE REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE REPRESENTATIVES.
ELDC – Possible grant from ELDC for places of worship and public spaces to cover costs of Covid 19 safety measures to allow for reopening up to £150. Cllr McMillan to confirm grant availability.Local restrictions support grant available from ELDC to rateable local businesses unable to open due to Covid 19.
LCC – No report.
Other bodies – Village Hall – Potholes to be filled outside toilets up to hall barrier.
Contractors started work on hall improvements, work to last into January 2021.
79/20 CO-OPTON OF COUNCILLOR
Application for co-option received from Mr Derek Cruikshank. Cllr Hill proposed, seconded by Cllr McMillan. All in favour. Clerk to send all paperwork to Mr Cruikshank to be signed and returned.
80/20 TO DISCUSS AND APPROVE PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICIES FOR NEW WEBSITE.
Both policies to remain the same and both to appear on new website. Clerk still working on new website. Current website to be switched off in December.
81/20 TO DISCUSS AND UPDATE CHRISTMAS MEAL PLAN.
District Councillor Community Grant funding applied for to pay for 40 hot Christmas meals, dessert and mince pie for the elderly, vulnerable and isolated in the village and Tetney Lock. Catering by Crown and Anchor at Tetney Lock. Meals to be delivered by Councillors Fletcher and McMillan and the Clerk on Thursday 17th December. It was proposed by Cllr McMillan, seconded by Cllr Hill to spend up to £85 on a small gift including wrapping paper to go with the meals. All in favour.
Electrician checked tree lights. Recommendation for next year to replace cable on tree trunk as tree growing round it. 20 bulbs need replacing, Cllr Fletcher sourcing a cherry picker.
82/20 OPEN FORUM
Water leak in toilets fixed, system drained for winter. Missing tiles replaced temporarily with roof felt.
Planning application for Fairlawns discussed. Cllr Lukehurst to contact former district councillor Bridges for possible statement regarding flooding in the area.
83/20. FUTURE DATES
Monday 11th January 2021
Thursday 11th February 2021
Thursday 11th March 2021, in the Chapel school room at 7.30pm, if possible otherwise via Zoom.
85/20 COUNCIL’S OPTION OF CLOSED SESSION
Council decided to go into closed session.
Clerk salary discussed for new financial year, approved, all agreed.
Meeting finished at 8.40pm.
