53/20 CHAIR’S REPORT

• Cllr McMillan welcomed the Councillors to the meeting. He explained the meeting was being held remotely due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and wished everyone with symptoms a speedy recovery, and reminded everyone to stay at home.

54/20. APOLOGIES

• Apologies were received in advance from Cllr Kerman due to unavailability of equipment. Proposed to accept apologies by Cllr Winslow, seconded by Cllr Fletcher. All in favour. Resolved to accept.

55/20. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS

a) To record declarations of interest by any member of the Council in respect of the agenda items listed below. Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared. None

b) To note dispensations given to any member of the Council in respect of the agenda items listed below. None

56/20. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING

• Had been previously circulated. It was proposed by Cllr Lukehurst and seconded by Cllr Hotchin to accept the Minutes. Resolved to accept minutes. These be adopted as a true record’.

57/20. Annual Audit Return - Governance Statement

Annual Governance statement was read out, agreed with and approved.

58/20 Annual Audit Return – Accounting Statements

Accounts had been previously circulated electronically. Accounts were approved and signed by the Chairman.

59/20 Annual Audit Return – Certificate of Exemption

The Certificate of Exemption from audit was approved and signed.

60/20 Open Forum

Cllr Hill informed the Council that letters had been sent to registered carers which proved they were carers should they be questioned whilst out. There were also helpful phone numbers listed.

60/20 Future dates

Due to Coronavirus (Covid 19) outbreak no further meetings will be held until September at the earliest and further guidance has been received from government.

Council approved extra delegated powers for the Clerk to conduct Council business.

61/20. COUNCIL’S OPTION OF CLOSED SESSION

Council decided not to go into closed session. Meeting finished at 8pm.
