MINUTES OF A MEETING OF TETNEY PARISH COUNCIL

Held remotely via Zoom on the 8TH March 2021

15/21 Chair's Welcome

          Cllr McMillan explained the meeting was being held remotely due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and wished everyone with symptoms a speedy recovery, and reminded everyone to stay at home as much as           possible.                                                         

16/21 Apologies for absence

Apologies were received in advance from Cllr Fletcher, Cllr Cruickshank and County Cllr McNally.

17/21    DECLARATION OF INTERESTS

        To record declarations of interest by any member of the Council in respect of the agenda 

        items listed below. Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and     

        type of interest being declared. None.

        To note dispensations given to any member of the Council in respect of the agenda items  

        listed below. None.

18/21 Minutes of the last meeting held on 11th January 2021

        Had been previously circulated. Proposed by Cllr Winslow and seconded by Cllr Kerman to accept the Minutes. Resolved to accept minutes. 

        "These be adopted as a true record".

19/21 Open Forum - None

20/21 To receive reports from

          ELDC - £2.2m grant secured from government for landlords and homeowners to improve green energy efficiency.

           Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival cancelled.

           Hoop End planning application called in to planning deveoplment managers.

           Annual budget for 2021/22 approved.

           LCC -  Report presented by Cllr McMillan. Digital voucher grant scheme for businesses open 8/3-12/3/21

           Rural business Grant open for applications 8/3-17/3/21

          Outside representatives - Village Hall have completed renovations on the toilets, interior decorators in soon.Complaint received about dog mess on field, dog warden contacted.

           FOTPS requested donation for Easter fundraiser, £20 poroposed and seconded, all in favour.

21/21 Financial report

         Previously circulated. Proposed and seconded to accept finances.

22/21 Community Event

          Idea discussed for village picnic and concert on playing field. 26/27 June, 2-5pm. Local singers to be approached, budget to be set. No outside caterers or activities. Bring your own picnic, chairs etc to be held in line with all              social distancing measures.

23/21 Grounds Maintenance Contract

          Contract signed by Steve Neul. Clerk to ask for quote to repaint posts and chains.

24/21 Parish Matters

          Man seen collecting over 10 bags of litter from Station Rd verges, flytips at recycle centre increasing, ELDC informed.

          Tetney Lock Rd sunsidence hazardous from New Delights to crossroads with 10inch surface level difference. Clerk to report.

25/21 Extraordinary items

          Remote meeting legislaton ends on 7th May, physical meetings to take place after that date. NALC lobbying government to extend legislation. Parish Council to prepare for physical meetings resuming.

          Cllr McNally thanked everyone for their support over last 4 years, he will be standing again in the upcoming elections.

26/21 Next agenda items

          Possible public toilets reopening.

27/21 Future dates

          Thursday 8th April 2021

          Tuesday 4th May

          Thursday 10th June, in the Chapel school room at 7.30pm or via Zoom.

28/21 To resolve whether to go into closed session.

          Council decided not to go into closed session.
